Final presentation of the ILE project at Subatech
Aimed at fourth and fifth grade students, this program enables teachers to develop physics projects in collaboration with science and technology professionals. The goal is to introduce children to science at an early age, pass on knowledge, and perhaps inspire a few future careers!
A total of 10 classes were supported this year by nine Subatech researchers. During these two days of presentations, the students presented the scientific challenges they had tackled in class before receiving their diplomas from their scientific mentors.
They also enjoyed two highlights:
-
🎈 an immersive lecture on Jules Verne led by Pierre-Mathieu Albert, mediator at the Jules Verne Museum in Nantes;
-
🎬 an original presentation on “Modern Physics & Cinema” by Guillaume Batigne, lecturer and researcher at Subatech.
Congratulations to all the participating classes and their teachers for their commitment throughout the year!
And a huge thank you to the researchers involved, who helped make this project a real bridge between school and research.
