Subatech trains nearly forty PhD students a year and plays a leading role in training at Masters level :
- Master Nuclear Engineering et l’Erasmus Mundus SARENA of IMT Atlantique
- Master Physique Fondamentale et Applications PFA jointly accredited by Nantes University and IMT Atlantique
- Nuclear Engineering course in the generalist programme at IMT Atlantique (TAF DEMIN et TAF DEMIN*)
In addition, we are the leader in basic training in modern physics (quantum physics and relativity) and make a strong contribution in physics, mathematics and computer science in L3 training at the University of Nantes and in the first years of engineering training at IMT Atlantique. This is done mainly through courses run by IMT Atlantique under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry and the University of Nantes. For this reason, Subatech's teacher-researchers and researchers are heavily involved in training, whether at doctoral school level and supervising doctoral students, in master's courses at the University or in IMT Atlantique engineering training, in the fields of modern, nuclear and particle physics, nuclear energy, radioactive waste management, the dismantling of nuclear installations and applications in nuclear physics and radiochemistry in healthcare.
