Appointment of Pol-Bernard Gossiaux as Director of the Subatech Laboratory

Effective January 1, 2026, Pol-Bernard Gossiaux has been appointed Director of our laboratory (UMR 6457 – CNRS / Nantes University / IMT Atlantique), succeeding Gines Martinez.

A professor of physics at IMT Atlantique and a member of Subatech since 1997, Pol-Bernard Gossiaux is a recognized specialist in nuclear and subatomic physics. Former head of the Theory group and deputy director of the laboratory since 2018, he is strongly committed to research, international collaborations, and training.
