The Magic Notebook
Following the award of funding under the CNRS 2024 QVCT call for projects “Professional equality for all,” the Gender Equality and Diversity Committee at the Subatech laboratory has created a comic book entitled “The Magic Notebook”, aimed at fourth and fifth grade students. This short story aims to introduce children to research careers and encourage an interest in science, particularly among girls, while challenging gender stereotypes. Designed for ease of use, the comic book can be printed in A3 double-sided format, folded into a small booklet, with the back also serving as a poster. It can be used by researchers, teachers, or families as an educational tool to address gender stereotypes, the place of women in research, and the diversity of scientific professions.
